Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace and gives travelers seamless access to ground transportation online, from search to ticket purchase. We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70+ countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com.

As we scale, we’re looking for a Business Analyst for our E-commerce teams, with a strong technical background to help drive the successful execution of new business initiatives. What you will do:
  • Create user stories and functional requirements for each iteration, ensuring all technical details are documented in a way that is easy to understand and implement.
  • Apply your knowledge of APIs and Postman to define and document system integration requirements for seamless connectivity.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Partnerships, Business Development, Technical) and external partners to define and align business objectives and user requirements.
  • Gain a deep understanding of specific team features, manage timelines effectively, and maintain a high-quality standard for assigned features.
  • Take responsibility for successfully delivering the roadmap and ensuring continuous progress while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Address gaps in specification capacity and time, helping define methodologies from a technical perspective and setting a clear path for execution.


Workplace:

We are a remote-first company, with teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin where the team often meets in the office.

Job requirements

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the B2C e-commerce industry.
  • Your background includes experience in technical roles such as Developer or Product Owner.l
  • You bring experience with API integrations, including tools like Postman.
  • Previous experience working on an e-commerce website would be more than welcomed.
  • You are analytical in your core: you can analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for development teams.
  • You are familiar with Agile principles and practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development processes.
  • You employ clear and concise communication, and are able to communicate in technical and non-technical complexity.
  • You are fast-adaptive and resilient to ambiguity: you are driven by impacting processes to support fast and efficient delivery.
