We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70+ countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com.
We are shaping the future of travel and building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. We are one of the fastest growing startups in travel, backed by leading venture capital investors including TQ Ventures, Lightrock, Creandum, and Northzone, and are headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond.
Workplace:
We are mainly looking for this role to be based within Germany, preferably in our HQ in Berlin. We are a remote-first company, with teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin where the team often meets in the office.
We are seeking a junior- to mid-level in-house commercial lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of commercial matters, with a focus on contract drafting, review and negotiation. The role will also involve support with compliance topics, including data protection law (with the support of our external Data Protection Officer) and supplier due diligence.
This position would be suitable for a lawyer with several years of post-qualification experience (2–4 years) who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
What you will do:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly with our transportation operator and retailer partners;
Advising business teams (sales, operations, product, procurement, HR, etc.) on day-to-day legal issues with a focus on pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance;
Providing support on corporate governance matters and internal policies;
Working with compliance and security teams on relevant compliance areas;
Contributing to the creation and improvement of internal contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes; and
Liaising with external counsel where required.

Familiarity with compliance topics, especially relating to data protection.
