We are looking for a Senior People Operations Partner who is passionate about enabling a product-led organisation by being a key and integral part of our People team. This role should be the subject matter expert for People Ops topics for the HQ/Berlin.

What you will do:

  • Maintain accurate HR profiles, data, and other record-keeping systems with attention to detail.

  • Identify and implement improvements in HR processes to enhance the employee experience and scalability.

  • Work closely with our external payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.

  • Oversee contract management and employee benefits administration across different countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Manage visa application processes and working directly with immigration services.

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes, providing clear and timely support.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the People Operations function.

  • Use data insights to refine processes and support informed decision-making.

Workplace: Berlin

This role is based at our headquarters in Berlin. We are a remote-first company, with teams around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office.

Job requirements

Who you are:

Experience:

  • You have a proven track record of ownership and process improvement of the experience in HR operations.

  • You have a passion for operational excellence, employee experience, data cleanliness, and HR compliance.

  • You have extensive knowledge of German Employment Law. International is a nice-to-have.

  • You are experienced in managing contracts, visa processes, and global employment matters.

  • You are comfortable working with external vendors and internal teams across various departments.

  • You have a strong affinity for data and strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and German labour laws.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with payroll processes and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience contributing to HR projects and implementing process improvements.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and maintaining HR records accurately.

  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across multiple levels of the organisation.

  • Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written is required.
