As our Product Manager, Finance you will be a key player in managing our proprietary financial platform that handles complex settlement processes for multiple carriers and retailers. You'll be responsible for orchestrating financial transactions, managing currency exchanges, and developing our in-house settlement tool. Your primary objective will be to continuously improve our financial platform, adding features that enhance its flexibility and efficiency.
The role sits within our product team and requires a strategic thinker who can navigate intricate financial ecosystems.
What you will do:
Lead the development and evolution of our proprietary settlement and financial platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and adaptable to our growing business needs.
Orchestrate financial processes between carriers and retailers.
Translate financial and business requirements into product improvements that drive automation, reduce operational overhead, and improve user experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Own and enhance complex financial operations, including multi-currency exchange handling, cross-border invoicing, and tax compliance logic.
Collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders, finance teams, engineers, and external partners to shape the product roadmap and deliver impactful solutions.
Ensure high platform reliability, working with engineering and QA to monitor system health, resolve issues, and meet compliance standards.
Continuously identify opportunities for innovation, pushing the boundaries of how financial products are built in the B2B travel-tech space.
Workplace:
We are mainly looking for this role to be based within Germany, preferably in our HQ in Berlin.
We are a remote-first company, with teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office.
Job requirements
Who you are:
You are a technically-minded Product Manager, capable of translating complex system requirements into scalable product solutions
You’ve worked closely with engineering teams on system design for high-load and distributed environments, ensuring reliability and performance at scale
You have a proven track record of driving product development, from strategy to execution, in fast-paced and data-driven environments
You have a background in finance, preferably from FinTech or financial systems
You have a strong understanding of complex financial platforms
You’ve built and led cross-functional teams, driving collaboration to achieve project goals
You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
