Senior Software Engineer (all genders)

We are seeking Senior Software Engineers to assist us with our scaling efforts, including integrating new carriers, building APIs for retailers, and extending core functionality. While this role centres on Ruby and Python, we welcome language-agnostic engineers who bring extensive experience across different technologies and are eager to dive into new ecosystems.

What you will do:

• Deliver high-quality Ruby and Python code in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Manage and orchestrate a large number of microservices.

• Lead and actively participate in efforts on systems architecture initiatives.

• Improve test coverage and quality of deliverables.

• Improve and create internal tools and libraries.

• Mentor and guide other team members.

• Actively participate in scaling the engineering team.

Workplace: Brazil, SEA, EU & Remote

We are a remote-first company with teams located around the Globe.

Also, the HQ office is in Berlin, where the team often meets.

Who you are:

• You have extensive experience (7+ years) as a software engineer and can contribute from day one

  • Having recent experience working with Python and Ruby projects is a plus

• Hands-on experience with planning and improving observability and monitoring processes

  • Experience with Grafana/Prometheus is a plus

• Experience in conducting technical recruitment interviews (nice to have)

• Test-driven development

• Extensive experience integrating external APIs

• Deep understanding of distributed systems principles

  • Experience working with microservices and/or service-oriented architecture

  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes from a software engineering perspective

• Experience working with public cloud providers

• In-depth understanding of relational and non-relational database principles

• Hands-on experience in designing robust REST APIs

• You have and can lead technical initiatives

• You are fluent in English, both verbal and written
